Episode 1: Winter is Coming
Plot: The first episode introduces the main characters of the show. Lord Eddard, the head of the stark family, chose at the Hand of the King by King Robert (who is a friend of Eddard), after the decease of the recent hand of the king Arryn, by Jaime Lannister and Cersei Lannister. Ranger Will warns Ned about white walkers, but he neglects it and beheads Will. Later, the stark’s sons found pups of a dead direwolf and adopt them. Then, King Robert and her wife Cersei arrives in Winterfell and suggests about the engagement of Sansa and Joffrey Lannister. Catelyn receives a message from her sister Lysa, widow of Arryn, suspecting that Lannisters might kill her husband. Meanwhile, Bran witnesses Jaime and Cersei having sex, and to keep their relationship a secret, Jaime throws Bran from the window. In Pentos, Daenerys marriages to Khal Drogo to reclaim his father’s throne from King Robert and get three dragon eggs as a marriage gift.
Episode 2: The Kingsroad
Plot: Eddard Stark, with his daughters, leave for the King’s Landing for his new position as the head of the king. Jon goes to be a ranger at the wall for Night’s watch, and Tyrion joins him in the journey. Catelyn grieves on Bran’s unconscious condition while another attack takes place. Daenerys, with her husband, starts her new life in the city of Vaes Dothrak. Jon gives Arya his sword, and Arya’s wolf bites Joffrey for his misbehavior. King Robert orders to kill the wolf, but as she ran away, Sansa’s lady wolf gets killed instead by Ned. Catelyn finds evidence that proves that Lannisters tried to kill her son Bran.
Episode 3: Lord Snow
Plot: Bran awakes from the Coma but won’t be able to walk again. Jon begins his training at the wall. Arya demands to learn sword to her father, and he hires Syrio Forel to teach her swordsmanship. Catelyn arrives in King’s Landing and takes the help of her friend “Little Finger” to find the culprit of Bran. Daenerys is pregnant. Tyrion and Jon become friends, and later Tyrion departs from the wall.
Episode 4: Cripples, Bastard, and Broken Things
Plot: In the King’s Landing, Eddard investigates the death of Arryn and learn some strange facts. Jon protects Samwell Tarley from other rangers at the wall. Daenerys fights with his brother, who desperately wants to control Drogo’s army to win all the seven kingdoms again for him. Catelyn arrests Tyrion on suspicion for attacking Bran.
Episode 5: The Wolf and The Lion
Plot: After arresting Tyrion, Catelyn visits her sister Lysa, who decides to pass judgment on Tyrion. Varys reveals to Ned that Ser Hugh might kill Arryn through the poison. Arya warns her father about some plotting by Varys and Illio against the throne. King Robert learns about Daenerys’ pregnancy and order to assassinate her along with her unborn child. Ned disagrees with Robert’s decision and resigns from his post. Jaime learns about Tyrion’s arrest by Catelyn and attack on Ned’s army, demanding the release of his brother. Bran learns Dothraki Art from Master Luwin.
Episode 6: A Golden Crown
Plot: Bran getting the recurring dream of a three-eyed raven. Tyrion asks for a trial by combat from Lysa and Bronn volunteers to fight for him. Bronn wins, and as per the law, Tyrion gets his freedom. In the king’s landing, Cersei accuses Ned of kidnapping Tyrion, and Robert asks Ned that he will require both Stark and Lannisters to rule the seven kingdoms. During his research, Ned learns that Joffrey is not the real son of Robert. Viserys gets jealous of the increasing popularity of his sister among khals, and demands Drogo to give him a golden crown. Drogo puts molten gold on his head to fulfill his wish, and he dies.
Episode 7: You Win, or You Die
Plot: Lord Tywin gives his half force to his son Jaime Lannister to attack on the House of Tully, believing that if Lannister begins a fight with Starks, they will be able to rule the seven kingdoms. Ser Jorah learns about the attack by Robert’s men on Daenerys and protects her. Drogo decides to raise his army against King Robert for his unborn child. Ned warns Cersei about Joffrey’s truth and asks her to leave the Kingdom with her children before he tells the truth to Robert. Ned dispatches the letter to the rightful heir Stannis Baratheon. Robert dies, and his brother Renly flies to the Kingdom to claim the Crown. Cersei forcefully makes Joffrey the king and arrests Ned.
Episode 8: The Pointy End
Plot: After Ned’s arrest, his son Robb Stark raises an army against Lannisters. Jon learns about Ned’s arrest but is unable to help him due to his vow towards the wall and killing a dead walker. Sansa asks for mercy to Joffrey while Arya runs away from the King’s house by killing a man. Joffrey tells Sansa that he will show mercy if Ned accepts his treason. Drogo’s army attacks a village to fund their ships, and Khal Drogo gets badly injured.
Episode 9: Baelor
Plot: To save his daughters’ lives, Ned takes the blame of treason but is ultimately beheaded by Joffrey. Catelyn negotiates with Lord Walder Frey to help her son in the battle against Lannisters. Robb defeats Jaime in his first battle. Yoren rescues Arya and takes her away. To save Drogo, Daenerys takes the help of Mirri’s black magic, but Ser Jorah later interrupts the process as Daenerys goes into premature labor.
Episode 10: Fire and Blood
Plot: After Ned’s execution, Sansa is taken as a hostage, and Arya flies away with new companions. Jon steps out from the wall with Samwell Tarley to find Benjen Stark. Daenerys lost her child due to Mirri’s magic. Khal Drogo survives but into a catatonic state, and his army starts leaving him. As mercy, Daenerys killed Drogo and steps into a lit pyre with her Drago eggs. As a surprise for everyone, Daenerys survive the fire and give birth to three Dragons.

Episode 1: The North Remembers
Plot: Joffrey becomes the new deceitful and cruel king while Robb Stark heads to the south to avenge his father’s death. He captive Jaime Lannister and asks Cersei to return his both sisters for Jaime’s freedom. Cersei starts a hunt for Arya stark to retrieve her lover. Stannis Baratheon arrives to claim his rights on the Iron throne. Meanwhile, the search for Robert’s bastard continues. Theon asks his father for the naval force of their island.
Episode 2: The Night Lands
Plot: Jon witnesses Craster handover his newborn baby to the nightwalkers. Samwell decides to take Gilly with him. Melisandre seduces Stannis and promises him to give his baby if he ultimately gives himself to the Lord of Light. Balon refuses Theon’s request to send his naval force to help Robb as he wants to be the king of the north.
Episode 3: What is Dead May Never Die
Plot: After the incident of Craster’s sacrifice, Craster demands rangers to leave his place, and they left for the wall. Catelyn arrives at Renly Baratheon’s camp to ask for his army to help them in the fight, where she meets his wife, Margaery, and Brienne of Tarth. From his cunning plan, Tyrion finds out Cersei’s spy in the small council. Arya rescue some prisoners, including Jaqen H’ghar and soldiers killed Lommy by considering him Gendry. Balon decides to attack North and ask Theon to choose between his father or starks, on which Theon decides to serve his father.
Episode 4: Garden of Bones
Plot: After a lot of struggle, Daenerys and her army get shelter in the City of Qarth, based in the brutal desert “Garden of Bones.” Arya, Gandry, and Hot Pie arrive at Harrenhal, where Lord Tywin keeps Arya as his cupbearer. Melisandre gives birth to a horrific shadow figure in the forest.
Episode 5: The Ghost of Harrenhal
Plot: Melisandre’s horrific shadow kills Renly in his tent, and Catelyn escapes with Brienne. Brienne decides to avenge Renly’s death and offers her loyalty to Catelyn. Cersei silently keeps the stock of wildfire to attack Stannis’s army. Jon chooses to join legendary Ranger Qhorin Halfhand’s army to eliminate nightwalkers. In Qarth, Xaro proposes Daenerys to marry him in return of resources she will require to reclaim the iron throne. Jaqen H’ghar offers Arya “three lives” to save him, and she asks him to kill Tickler first, which he obeys.
Episode 6: The Old Gods And The New
Plot: Theon executes Ser Rodrik’s and takes Winterfell. Hodor, Bran, and Rickon escape. Roose Bolton sends his bastard son to teach Theon a lesson for betrayal. Daenerys dragons go missing in Qarth. Arya demands for the second life from Jaqen H’ghar.
Episode 7: A Man Without Honor
Plot: Sansa’s first period starts, and now she can bear Joffrey’s child. Wildlings capture Jon through Ygritte. Jaime successfully escapes from Robb’s prison and meets Catelyn. Daenerys finds her dragon and flies with Jorah. Theon fake execution of Bran and Rickon.
Episode 8: The Prince of Winterfell
Plot: Tyrion and Bronn make a strategy to defeat Stannis. Robb learns about the escape of Jaime and confesses his feelings for Talisa. Brienne decides to escort Jaime to the King’s Landing for the trade of stark’s daughters. Jon meets Lord of Bones. Master Luwin learns that Bran and Rickon are alive. Arya escapes from Harrenhal.
Episode 9: Blackwater
Plot: The ultimate battle between Baratheons and Lannisters begins, with Davos leading Stannis’ fleet in blackwater bay. Lannister’s army uses wildfire to destroy Stannis’ fleet. Cersei decides to poison herself and her child if they lose. Joffrey leaves the battle in between. Ser Mandon attacks Tyrion’s face, making him unconscious. Tywin’s army defeats Stannis’ army.
Episode 10: Valar Morghulis
Plot: Tywin becomes the new hand of the king, and Baelish is awarded with Harrenhal. Margery decides to marry Joffrey. Littlefinger offers the freedom to Sansa, but she declines. Robb married Talisa and deny to marry Walder Frey’s Daughter. Brienne escorts Jaime to the King’s Landing, and both form a special bond. Jaqen gives Arya a coin with phrase Valar Morghulis and shows her his face-changing ability before leaving.

Season Overview: The third season of Game of Thrones is all about Revenge, Betrayal, and Victory. Robb decides to marry Walder Frey’s daughter, but after the feast, Frey’s army kills Catelyn and Robb’s army in a massacre, and Roose Bolton kills Robb. The massacre is planned by Tywin, who offers Walder Frey the Riverrun as a reward. Roose Bolten and his bastard claim the Winterfell. Arya witnesses the massacre but ran away for safety. Season Overview: Cersei buried her father and worries about her daughter Marcella, who is in Dorne, after the murder of Oberyn. She orders Jaime to bring Marcella back. Tyrion arrives at Essos with Varys, and Varys advises him to serve Queen Daenerys. Both Varys and Tyrion head to Meeran to meet Queen.
Arya’s training starts at the House of Black and White. She gets a task by a faceless man in which she violates some rules and, as a punishment, gets blinded by a faceless man. Sansa, on the other hand, reaches to the Winterfell with Littlefinger, where she gets married to Ramsay Snow. Theon helps her to escape from the torture, and she ran away.
Jon Snow kills the dead walker with his Valerian Steel Sword, returns to the castle, and opens the gate for wildlings. Jon becomes the new Lord of Commander, and his mates killed him in jealousy. Sam, on the other hand, along with gilly and child leaves for oldtown to be a Maester.

Season Overview: After so much killing, majorly after the death of Jon Snow, the audience was dying to watch Season Six of Game of Thrones. The season begins with the excellent news that Jon is back to life by Melisandre’s magic. He leaves the castle and takes the Winterfell back. Rickon is dead by Ramsay, and Podrick and Brienne rescue Sansa. After so much struggle, Jon and Sansa finally met, and Ramsay died. After the death of Tommen, Cersei uses wildfire to kill Margery, Loras, Pycell, High Sparrow, and Lancel Lannister to become the Queen. Jaime leaves the king’s landing for Riverrun.
Daenerys lit the Dothraki Lords and survive the fire. She returns to Meeran with her Dragon and, with the help of Jorah and Tyrion, kills all the masters of Meeran. Arya gets her vision back, and Hodor saves Bran from white walkers. Bran learns that the children of the forest created white walkers, and he becomes the three-eyed raven. Bran has the power to change the future by changing the past. Yara and Theon decide to offer their fleet to Queen Daenerys. Bran had a vision later, which confirms that Jon is a son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaeghar Targaryen, which means Daenerys is his aunt.

Season Overview: Arya kills all the persons involved in Red Wedding and returns to Winterfell after learning Jon’s arrival. Bran also returns to the Winterfell, and all the siblings reunite. Sam learns that Dragonstone is built up of dragon glass that can kill white walkers and treats Jorah for his advanced greyscale disease. Melisandre recommends Daenerys to meet Jon, and she summons him to bend his knee. Jon meets Daenerys and warns her about the night king and his army. Davos, Jorah, Gendry, Tyrion, Jon, and Daenerys decides that they have to take the help of Lannisters to kill dead walkers and thus decide to capture a proof of dead walkers to present to Lannisters.
Jaime’s army takes Highgarden while Daenerys takes Casterly Rocks. Jaime kills Onella, and she confesses about poisoning Joffrey before dying. Lannister army leaves HighGarden with carriages full of gold but attacked by Daenerys’ Dragons, who burn everything. Euron Greyjoy offers iron fleets to Cersei and proposes her for marriage.
Jon and his team go beyond the walls to capture a dead walker where the army of Night King attacks Jon’s team. Daenerys comes with her dragons to help Jon, where Night King kills one of her dragons, and later, the dead dragon converts into a dead walker.
Daenerys agrees to help Jon to fight with dead walkers, and Jon accepts her as her queen. Daenerys with Jon and her dragons arrive at the King’s Landing, and Cersei promises them to send her army to fight with dead walkers. Later, she tells Jaime that she is pregnant with his child, and she lied to Daenerys and Jon about sending her force for their help.
Disgusted, Jaime leaves the King’s Landing and joins Daenerys and Jon’s side. Littlefinger tries to convince Sansa that Arya wants to kill her to become the Lady of the Winterfell. But aware of Littlefinger’s nature, Sansa learns that he is plotting between them and orders Arya to kill him. Jon and Daenerys come closer while marching towards North.

Season Overview: The final season of Game of Thrones revolves around the two biggest battles: One is against the army of deads, and the other one is for Iron Throne. In the first half of the season, Daenerys’ army, Wildlings, and Northern army joins hands together to kill Night King and dead walkers. Bran claims that Night King will come to kill him- the three-eyed raven and thus Theon and Ironborn offer him the protection. The battle begins between Dead walkers and the Northern Army, and Melisandre tries to hold the army by lightening the fire.
Night King kills Theon and tries to kill Bran, but Arya kills the Night King from her Valerian Sword. Arya and Gendry intimate while Brienne and Jaime become lovers. Jon reveals his true identity to Sansa, Arya, and Daenerys. Daenerys asks him to conceal his true identity as she wants the Iron Throne. But Sansa wants Jon to be the king and thus reveal the secret to Tyrion, who informs Varys about the same.
The second half of the finale season revolves around the ultimate battle for the Iron Throne. Daenerys arrives with Jon, Arya, Jaime, Brienne, her army, and with her dragons to the King’s Landing to claim the throne. Euron attacks Daenerys’ army and takes Missandei as a hostage and beheaded in front of Daenerys. Angry Daenerys burns the city with Dragon fire to the ashes and slaughters thousands of civilians. Tyrion and Jon get horrified by Daenerys’ cruel actions.
